Dear Friends & Patrons of Cure Our Kids,
We're delighted to again support the Cure Our Kids foundation in 2008.
AIMA Australia represents the vast majority of hedge fund managers and service providers operating in the $80Bill+ Australian industry. The Network's Executive Committee and Working Groups continue to work on a number of regulatory, educational and social projects on behalf of the hedge fund industry.
On reflection, many of you have said that 2008 has been difficult, eventful and perhaps with a few more challenges yet to present themselves. Markets have been weak, investors remain uncertain and regulators are diligently alert to the next financial crisis. But... those that learn from these difficult times generally state they emerge stronger and better equipped to tackle the future obstacles ahead.
I would urge everyone in the Australian hedge fund community to dig deep and help these children affected by cancer, and their families, in overcoming their obstacles so they can emerge stronger and better equipped for their life ahead.
